Terms of Use
Last updated: July 25, 2026
MindfulBlock is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. That agreement is the legal contract for your use of the app — it covers your licence, warranties, liability and applicable law. This page adds the things specific to MindfulBlock: what the app is, who it's for, and how the subscription works. MindfulBlock is developed by Daniil Shevliuk, an independent developer.
The app
MindfulBlock helps you block distracting apps and unlock them through journaling. It is a self-help tool, not medical or psychological advice, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Blocking relies on Apple's Screen Time frameworks and the permissions you grant — it is an aid, not a guarantee, and it can be bypassed or interrupted by changes you make on your device.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old to use MindfulBlock. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Subscriptions
Some features — collectively MindfulBlock Plus — are available through an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks a larger daily budget of quick unlocks, days off, and on-device insights into your journal. The exact price, duration and contents of each plan, together with any introductory or free-trial offer, are shown in the app before you confirm the purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. If you buy a subscription during a free trial, any unused portion of that trial is forfeited. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies, not by us. If we change subscription pricing, Apple will notify you and ask for your consent as required.
Features may be added, changed or retired over time. If we substantially remove a feature you subscribed for, you can cancel and seek a refund through Apple.
Your content
Your journal entries are yours. They stay on your device — we don't collect, store or claim any rights over them. Keeping them safe is up to you and your own backups. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Warranties, liability & applicable law
These are set out in Apple's standard EULA, linked above, which applies to MindfulBlock in full. Nothing on this page limits the consumer rights you have under the law where you live.
Stopping
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; cancelling a subscription is done in your App Store settings. We may discontinue the app if we can no longer maintain it.
Changes
We may update this page; the date above reflects the current version.
